WHERE JOURNALISTS MEET ISRAEL

“The Obama – Netanyahu Relationship: Two Views” with Caroline B. Glick, The Jerusalem Post and Amir Oren, Ha’aretz

“The Obama – Netanyahu Relationship: Two Views” with Caroline B. Glick, The Jerusalem Post and Amir Oren, Ha’aretz

On September 8 – 2015, Caroline Glick, senior editor and columnist at the Jerusalem Post and Amir Oren, senior political and strategic correspondent of Ha’aretz, debated at JPC the relationship of president Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu. Ms. Glick said that never before has an American President deviated from the traditional US Mideast policy like President Obama did, and that Mr. Netanyahu was right in fighting for Israel’s interests, even at the cost of confronting the President. Mr. Oren said that Mr. Netanyahu did what no previous Israeli Prime Minister has done before – confronting head-on and publicly an American President, thus harming Israel’s interests.
