The Jerusalem Press Club, Israel’s only foreign press club, and OurCrowd, Israel’s most active venture firm, are pleased to invite you to experience an exclusive press tour of Israel’s tech ecosystem taking place June 23-28, 2024.
Despite the ongoing war, Israel’s tech sector has shown signature resilience and has recently shown signs of recovery. The tour will provide access to the cutting-edge technology behind the headlines, focusing on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, as well as to military and government leaders providing insight into the Gaza war, and press passes to the iconic AI Week and Cyber Week events taking place in Tel Aviv. Moderating slots at these events are also available.

Onsite visits with tech demos may include:
- Bionic Hive, developers of an autonomous warehouse robot, forced to relocate from its headquarters on Gaza border
- Cyabra, cyber software identifying misinformation and bad actors in the social media battle, deployed by Elon Musk in his due diligence for Twitter
- mPrest, command and control software developed for Iron Dome, now used by 300,000 sites in 20 countries to manage energy grids
- Hailo, whose breakthrough AI accelerators and vision processors have begun to challenge Nvidia’s leadership
Through an exclusive partnership with the Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center, we can offer press access to AI Week and Cyber Week, including interviews with leading speakers, as well as the global crowd of cybersecurity experts, industry leaders, startups, investors, academics, diplomats, military and government officials.
In addition we will visit the southern Kibbutzim and sites brutally targeted by Hamas on October 7th. Gain insights into the profound impact of Hamas terrorism on these communities.

At least once a year, Jerusalem Press Club holds a press trip to Israel for journalists from abroad. These trips are an excellent opportunity for participants to get an inside look at Israel in all of its complexity, gain access to valuable sources and spaces, and take home a honed ability to write about topics relating to Israel with an informed, nuanced perspective.
Recent press trips include:
- 2023 Climate and Tech Reporters Delegation: JPC, together with Jennifer Laszlo Mizrahi and Laura Kam, hosted the “Climate Change, Technology, Innovations & Solutions” Delegation. A select group of 15 tech and climate Journalists from the U.S, U.K, Morocco, Austria and Germany, came to cover the 2023 OurCrowd Global Investor Summit and to witness Israel’s finest climate startups in an exclusive JPC Press field tour. - 2022 Film Critics’ Delegation: JPC was delighted to host its 6th Film Critics Delegation, comprising film critics from across the globe. Delegates from France, Poland, Russia and India gathered to watch selected films at the 39th Jerusalem Film Festival, that took place at the Jerusalem Cinematheque.
- 2020 JPC Media Delegation to the Commemoration of 75 Years since the Liberation of Auschwitz: On January 27, 2020, JPC with the cooperation of the World Jewish Congress, sent a delegation of Israeli journalists to cover the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
- 2019 Film Critics’ Delegation: In July 2019, JPC hosted leading international Film Critics who came to cover the 36th Jerusalem Film Festival. On July 25, film critics from Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, China, Lithuania, Russia and the USA arrived to join the celebration of cinema in Jerusalem. The journalists enjoyed a rich program which included watching local and international films, interviews with filmmakers and film industry figures, guided tours and social events.
- 2018 Discovering Israel: Industry, Innovation and Culture Delegation from Latin America: JPC hosted a group of 10 leading tech and economic journalists from Latin America. The journalists participated in a week-long program tailor made by the Jerusalem Press Club, in cooperation with Foreign Trade Administration at the Ministry of Economy. The program focused on Israeli innovation in different fields, including cyber, fintech, medical tech and more. The group toured the country to encounter cutting-edge technology in Jerusalem, Yokne’am, Haifa, Be’er Sheva and Tel Aviv. In addition, the group visited the DLD innovation festival which was held in Tel Aviv for the 9th time.
