Prof. Daniel Pipes, founder of the Philadelphia-based Middle East Forum, spoke on July 11, at JPC about The Israel Victory Project. This is an initiative of the Middle East Forum, in collaboration with Israeli politicians, which advocates for a new approach to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In the core of which, lies the notion, developed by Prof. Pipes, that “peace processing” has left matters worse than when they started, and that an alternative approach should be adopted, with a stress on Israeli toughness in pursuit of victory.At the briefing, the results of a new poll conducted by pollster Rafi Smith were presented, showing that there is a great support for this direction. Following the briefing, the Knesset Israel Victory Caucus (KIVC) was launched, by its co-Chairs MK Oded Forer (Yisrael Beytenu) and Yaakov Peri (Yesh Atid).
