On Tuesday, Feburary 6th, Professor Avi Weiss gave a “State of the Nation Report,” offering his expertise to analyze Israel’s current society, economy, and policies. He is the Executive Director of the Taub Center for Social Policy in Israel; he served as Chief Economist and Deputy Director of the Israel Antitrust Authority between 2003-2005. He focused on Arab-Israelis, looking at what the affects have been on the community since the Israeli government invested 15 billion shekel towards their needs.
