On Monday, October 22th, the JPC hosted a brief about the recent situation in the Gaza Strip with Dr. Eran Lerman, former deputy director for foreign policy and international affairs at the National Security Council in the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office. With a military career of almost 20 years, Dr. Lerman provided a very interesting analysis about the short and long terms scenarios regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip and the dynamics between the actors involved in the current negotiations.
Dr. Lerman is currently the Vice President of the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security and he teaches in the Middle East studies program at Shalem College in Jerusalem.
