On Tuesday, September 24, 2019, the Jerusalem Press Club (JPC)
had the honour to host Prof. Tamar Hermann, the Academic Director of the Guttmann Center for Public Opinion and Policy Research at the IDI – Israel Democracy Institute.
Professor Hermann outlined the attitudes of the Israeli public as portrayed in resent public opinion polls. In general, Israelis rate their situation as “good” and “very good”.
The main rift in the Israeli society shifted from rich-poor to Jewish-Arabs to right and left. While many Israelis still support a two state solution a few believe that it is viable at this point.
