On Wednesday, April 2, 2014, JPC members enjoyed an exclusive Pre-Easter “rare glimpse” of The Holy Cross Monastery of the Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, Located at the Valley of the Cross, Jerusalem. During the tour, which had been initiated and guided by JPC member Angela Maria Arbelaez of the Intercultural Interfaith Dialogue Group, the participants met Rev. Claudio Peppas, Superior of the Holy Cross Monastery. According to an ancient tradition, the tree from which the cross of Jesus was made grew at that spot.
