Bassem Eid, Director of the Jerusalem-based Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group (PHRMG) met with press at the Jerusalem Press Club. He addressed the issue of UNRWA and the urgent need for a serious overhaul of the agency because, he said, it doesn’t help solve the Palestinian refugees’ problem; it only prongs it. As per Gaza, Mr. Eid said that Hamas, contrary to its rhetoric, doesn’t really promote the interests of the Gazans.
