On December 20th, the JPC held a press briefing titled “Israel and the Arab World: warming relations, shared interests,possible scenarios.”
We had a high level panel with Elior Levy, Yediot Ahronot Palestinians and Arab Correspondent and Analyst, who moderated the panel and added very interesting and observations.
Elie Podeh, Professor in the Department of Islamic and Middle East Studies, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, serves as the President of the Middle East and Islamic Studies Association of Israel (MEISAI) and is a Board Member of Mitvim – The Israeli Institute for Regional Foreign Policies.
Joshua Krasna, an analyst specializing in Middle East political and regional developments and forecasting, as well as in international strategic issues. He recently retired after 30 years of government service in Israel, including as a diplomat abroad.
The panel focused on the last developments regarding the strategic relations between some Arab countries and Israel, and through the questions of the journalists present, discussed possible future scenarios
