On Saturday night, May 24, JPC and Fuente Latina hosted Latino-American journalist covering the Pope’s visit and Spanish-speaking guests for a cocktail party on JPC’s Touro Restaurant terrace.
In a beautiful Jerusalem evening, with the breathtaking view of the walls of the Old City, Mayor Nir Barkat addressed the audience, followed by Rabbi Abraham Skorka and Marco Sermoneta, former Israeli Ambassador in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean. Then, the animated crowd watched the Champions League final soccer game between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.
The event was part of a joint venture of JPC and Fuente Latina, which hosted the Latino and Hispanic American journalists who have come to Israel to cover the Pope’s visit.
