On Wednesday, January 15, 2014, The Jerusalem Press Club hosted Dov Weissglas, a close confidant of the late Prime Minister Arik Sharon, who gave a candid talk about the colorful soldier and the political leader who had just passed away.
About the Speaker:
Dov Weissglas (born 1946) is an Israeli lawyer and business man who has been closely linked with the Middle 
East peace process, particularly under Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. As Sharon’s office manager/bureau chief, he was the public face for Sharon during the 2004 withdrawal negotiations and the diplomatic delegate for negotiating with U.S. National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice and U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell. Weissglas’ business firm, Weissglas-Almagor, invests heavily in both Israeli and Palestinian industry.
The Jerusalem Press Club is positioned to become a world-renowned facility.
